These classifiers have been developed especially for fine products between 40 and 300µm.
They belong to the family of wizard classifiers with internal airflow, therefore they are 'stand-a-lone ' classifiers with no external air system or equipment required.
ALPHA Series Classifier:
These classifiers have been developed for fine products below 40 µm.
They belong to the family of turbo classifiers, also called centrifugal classifiers. Their purpose is to achieve the best yield at very low specific energy.
These classifiers have been developed especially for ultra fine products in the filler market with a range 5 to 50 microns. Because of their high sharpness of cut, they are suitable for toner and similar products. Also abrasive products such as quartz, zircon oxide can be classified without high abrasion.
The classifier can be constructed in stainless steel to GMP standards for food applications.
A NEA-S series is also available for ultra fine products with high added value.
These classifiers are also turbo or centrifugal classifiers and are capable of cut points down to 3µm. They were developed to achieve an end product target of high fineness combined with a sharp cut point, high efficiency yield, and low specific energy. They are unique in that they can achieve high fineness at high capacities up to 30,000kg/h.
SM Series Pin Mills:
This is a pin mill with 2 contra-rotating discs. Both pin discs are driven separately and can be fitted with different types of pins. With a high relative disc speed excellent milling performance can be achieved. Available in mild steel or stainless steel construction and the option of a wide chamber design suitable for sticky materials.
