Description

The Atritor Dryer-Pulveriser is a long established product used for the simultaneous drying and milling of chemicals, minerals, coal, pigments, waste materials, etc. It will also accurately blend materials and surface modify performance minerals. It is a very compact flash dryer and with inlet temperatures as high as 600°C its thermal efficiency and evaporative capacity are high.

Description

The Cell Mill is a multi-rotor, vertical shaft mill for the production of very fine powders, utilising a combination of impact, shear and attrition forces.

It is also an efficient dryer with inlet temperatures as high as 400°C and it can dry high-solids slurries without the need for backmixing. It is modular in construction and can be easily tailored to the individual, specific needs of the project. An independently driven dynamic classifier can be fitted to the mill for improved control of product top-size. A surfactant injection system enables the surface chemistry of products to be modified.

Description

The Dynamic Classifier Mill is a high speed grinding mill with an integral, independently driven, dynamic classifier producing narrow size distributions. The feed material is first classified to extract in-specification material before the oversize returns to the milling section.

Air-Swept Tubular (AST) Dryer

Description

The AST Dryer is an air swept tubular dryer with three control zones determining retention time, drying rate, product size and residual moisture. It is possible to create dust free, relatively large, moist products through to dry gritty products. It can be fed directly with high moisture slurries and is particularly suitable for sewage and industrial sludges.

Microniser

Description

The Microniser is a classical spiral jet micronising mill, also commonly known as a 'pancake microniser'. Compressed air jets accelerate the material into inter-particulate collisions and classify the product internally. The production of sub-one-micron particles is possible. Materials of construction to suit most applications are available, including FDA quality.
