High volume operations

Because of the diversity of applications for these machines, a larger Turbo Separator (II) has been introduced to handle products such as plasterboard and cement. This unit will separate the paper and gypsum in plasterboard operations for recovery of waste gypsum  from  off  cuts  or
other rejects. There is also a requirement for the unit as a high volume sack splitter where many tons of bagged ingredients are required as feed to a related process line. The Turbo Separator can significantly simplify the discharge of bagged products from their packaging.

Theory of operation

The packaged, canned or otherwise contained product is introduced   into   the  unit  via  a

and breaker bars, which separate the product from its packaging. The de-packed product is routed through a screen to a central discharge hopper. Various screen sizes and types are available depending on the product's size and consistency. The packaging material continues through the Separator's cylindrical body to an end discharge for disposal or recycling.
